Strings and Whistles, 22 – 23 March
A two-day exhibition of work from expert Cornish instrument-makers. Each maker has their own unique style and will be on-hand to talk about their work and instruments will be available for visitors to try.
The exhibition will take place in the lower gallery, with live performances in the upper gallery on both days.

Gardens and James Turrell Skyspace at Dusk, Fri 28 March, from 5.30pm
The first chance this year to see Tremenheere outside of normal opening hours and to experience Tewlwolow Kernow (James Turrell’s Skyspace at Tremenheere) at dusk.
Tewlwolow Kernow, Cornish for Twilight in Cornwall, is best seen at dawn or dusk, when background illumination under-lights the ceiling of the Skyspace and provides a subtle contrast with the sky. The shifting balance between the interior and exterior light will provide a contemplative and hypnotic experience.

Newlyn Society of Artists Spring Exhibition: Longya, 29 March – 21 April
Newlyn Society of Artists return to Tremenheere with their Spring exhibition.
Longya is the Cornish word for ‘belong’. Cornwall is a place of strong and unique identity. Whether born of its soil, naturalised to call it home, or deeply connected to the area from elsewhere, the parameters of attachment are under constant debate. What is it to be an artist working in Cornwall today, or one whose work is inspired by the region? This exhibition explores the nuanced affinities that connect artists with this uncommon place.
