Adventures in the Gardens: Easter at Tremenheere

Spring is one of the most magical times in the gardens at Tremenheere. As the landscape begins to wake up and fresh greens appear along the paths, Easter offers the perfect excuse for families to explore, play, and spend time outdoors together.

The Golden Egg Easter Trail, 29 March – 12 April – Over the Easter period we’ll once again be welcoming younger visitors with a few gentle activities designed to make a wander through the gardens even more fun. Children can pick up an activity sheet from The Shop and see what they can spot as they explore – from sculptures and plants to hidden details along the way.

Keep your eyes open too for the return of our Golden Egg, tucked away somewhere in the gardens. If you can find it, you’ll know you’ve explored well, and you’ll be in with the chance of winning a hamper full of goodies.

Around the shop and Kitchen area, there will also be a few Easter characters hiding in unexpected places, waiting to be discovered by observant visitors – chocolate treats are waiting if you can find them all! – Book Garden Tickets

Mor Holan Sauna, 11 & 12 April – Showcasing their new Tin Coast sauna, experience hot and cold contrast therapy with Mor Holan Sauna at Tremenheere in April. Book via Mor Holan

Newlyn Society of Artists: Eye of the Lens, Daily until 19 April – Tremenheere Gallery reopens, presenting the spring exhibition of Newlyn Society of Artists. Guest curated by film critic Mark Kermode, who rather than asking members to make work in response to a theme, invited artists to submit work that best represents their current practice. Read more

Tremenheere Kitchen – During the Easter holidays, the Kitchen will be open for a few special occasions: on Good Friday evening (3 April) and Fri 10 April, they will be offering their Fish Friday menu, and on Sat 11 April there will be a Spanish music and tapas night. Plus, the Hut will be open every day, weather permitting. Book a table

Whether you come for a relaxed wander, a family outing, or simply to enjoy the gardens as they come to life again, Easter is a lovely moment to slow down, look closely, and see what you might discover at Tremenheere.
