A big thank you to everyone who visited Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens and helped raise funds for the Cornwall Wildlife Trust during our annual charity day last weekend (Sunday 26th October).
Nestled between art and landscape, Tremenheere offers a space where the natural world is both celebrated and protected. This year, through the generosity of visitors and supporters, £662.50 from garden ticket sales was donated directly to Cornwall Wildlife Trust, helping to ensure that Cornwall’s wild places continue to thrive.
The Cornwall Wildlife Trust is one of 46 local trusts across the UK, working to protect wildlife and restore natural habitats through the power of community, conservation, and education. Their work is supported by members, volunteers, and donors, and by days like this, where a visit to Tremenheere becomes a small act of giving back to the landscape that inspires so many of our sculptures and plantings.
Josie Purcell, Community Fundraising Lead at Cornwall Wildlife Trust, shared her thanks:
“We greatly appreciate Tremenheere’s support and thank those attending on the day. This donation will help our charity ensure nature in Cornwall can be appreciated and enjoyed now and in the future.”
From the lush palms and exotic plantings to the art that mirrors the wild shapes of the landscape, Tremenheere is deeply connected to nature’s rhythms. Supporting the Cornwall Wildlife Trust feels like a natural extension of that relationship, helping to protect the very habitats that inspire our gardens.
Thank you to everyone who visited, explored, and supported the day. Your time among the sculptures and sub-tropical greenery made a real difference to Cornwall’s wildlife.
