Gardens and James Turrell Skyspace at Dusk

Tues 22 Sept 2026 – from 6pm

Mark the Autumn equinox by seeing Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens outside of normal opening hours and experiencing Tewlwolow Kernow (James Turrell’s Skyspace) at dusk.

Tewlwolow Kernow, Cornish for Twilight in Cornwall and the name of the Skyspace at Tremenheere, is best seen at dawn or dusk, when background illumination under-lights the ceiling of the Skyspace and provides a subtle contrast with the sky. The shifting balance between the interior and exterior light will provide a contemplative and hypnotic experience.

The Gardens will be open from 6pm, with everyone meeting in the Skyspace at 7.40pm for the dusk experience – which lasts approx 45 minutes and will be lead by a member of the Tremenheere team.

The event will take place outside and end after sunset – weather appropriate clothing and bringing a torch are both essential. The event will go ahead in almost all weather.

Booking essential.
