Judy Buxton and Virginia Bounds will be offering a day workshop, exploring the Gardens at Tremenheere, in connection to their current exhibition Tir ha Trig (Land & Ebb), running at Tremenheere Gallery until 6 June.
An insight and introduction into their painting practice, working from observation towards abstraction, by means of colour and form in an expressive, intuitive approach. The day will involve a walk around the garden and at different locations looking at plant forms and the spaces they inhabit.
Meeting at 9.45am at Tremenheere Gallery, where the day will begin with a tour of the exhibition led by Judy and Virginia.
Please bring along your own materials: Sketchbooks, paper, for drawing, coloured crayons/pencils, watercolour. The event will run until 4pm, with an hour’s break for lunch (please bring your own lunch). Minimum group size 6.
