Wellness at Tremenheere: Summer Programme (May – July)

This summer, we’re pleased to continue our series of wellness events at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, offering a gentle invitation to slow down, reconnect, and spend time immersed in nature.

Across May, June, and July, a programme of mindful practices and restorative experiences will take place within the gardens and surrounding spaces. Each session has been designed to offer space for presence, reflection, and calm, through movement, breath, sound, and creative practice.

While each event is distinct in form and focus, they are all held together by a shared intention: to create time and space for wellbeing within a natural setting.


The Programme

Yoga with Reiki

Saturday 9 May, 9 .15am – 90 mins
Join Fran Lewis and Tremeneere’s Polly for a nourishing combination of gentle movement and energetic relaxation. These sessions blend mindful yoga practice with Reiki healing, supporting both physical ease and deep rest. Participants are guided through a calming flow, followed by restorative relaxation to close.


Breathwork

Saturday 30 May, 10.15am – 30 mins
A focused practice centred on conscious breathing techniques. Breathwork explores the connection between breath, body, and emotional well-being, offering tools for relaxation, clarity, and nervous system regulation.

Journaling & Guided Meditation

Saturday 30 May, 9am – 60 mins
Join Helen Kelynack for a reflective creative practice combining guided meditation with quiet writing time. This session offers space to pause, process thoughts, and connect more deeply with personal intention in a calm and supportive environment.


Sound Journey: Resonant Being

Saturday 13 June, 4.30pm – 90 mins
A fully immersive sound experience using layered instruments and therapeutic frequencies. Designed to encourage deep rest and inner stillness, this session allows participants to be carried by sound in a reflective and meditative environment.


Liz Thomas Holistic Healer Tai Chi Soundbath Trencrom

Tai Chi Qigong

Saturday 20 June, 10am – 60 mins
A gentle, flowing movement practice rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. Tai Chi Qigong supports balance, coordination, and calm focus, making it accessible to all levels and abilities. It is a grounding way to reconnect body and breath.


Drum Circle

Saturday 4 July, 10am – 60 mins
Join Wild Samasara (Trudi) and Tremenheere’s Polly for a shared rhythmic experience that invites connection through sound and collective presence. The drum circle is open and participatory, encouraging intuitive rhythm-making and a sense of shared grounding within the landscape.


A Day of Wellbeing at Tremenheere

Each session can be experienced as part of a wider retreat-style day at Tremenheere. Participants are welcome to spend time in the gardens alongside their chosen event, allowing space to wander, rest, and reflect before or after sessions.

Entry to the gardens is included with wellness bookings, and delicious food is available throughout the day at Tremenheere Kitchen. A selection of wellbeing-focused products can also be found in the gallery shop, offering ways to extend the experience beyond the session itself.

Across the programme, the emphasis remains the same: slowing down, creating space, and offering time to reconnect, both with nature and with ourselves.
