What’s On: November & December at Tremenheere

As the autumn light fades and the gardens slip into their winter rhythm, this is a time for reflection, stillness, and quiet awe. November brings the final days to explore the gardens before their winter rest, alongside exhibitions, community moments and the gentle start of the festive season.

Until 9 November: Last days to visit the gardens & Locals’ Offer

Tremenheere Gardens will close for their annual winter break after Sunday 9 November, reopening in spring 2026. Until then, local visitors can still enjoy the full landscape, sculpture, and subtropical planting, often at their most atmospheric under low autumn light.

Our Locals’ Offer runs until closing day: Cornwall residents enjoy discount off garden entry (just show proof of address at the ticket desk).
It’s a perfect moment to take a final wander, see how the planting shifts with the season, and enjoy the quieter pathways before the gardens rest.

13 – 24 November: FOREST by Terra Mater Art

Opening mid-month in the Tremenheere Gallery, Terra Mater Art presents “FOREST”, a new exhibition exploring woodland as muse, metaphor and material.

Works draw on the textures, light and layered ecosystems of the forest, echoing the interplay of wildness and curation that defines Tremenheere itself.

22 November: Ladydowns Christmas trees arrive

The first Christmas trees arrive on site on 22 November, transforming the atmosphere and marking the shift from autumn’s quiet to the start of the festive season. The trees create a joyful experience for visitors collecting pre-orders or joining events in the coming weeks.

The season of Nothing at AllAwe

As the gardens rest, the themes of our 2025/6 programme come into focus. “Nothing at All” is an invitation to pause, to stand still, to let the landscape be what it is. And in that stillness, Awe naturally arises.

Whether you visit before we close, join an exhibition, or return in spring, we invite you to experience Tremenheere as a place of transformation, subtle, sensory and ever-changing.
