June at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens: Art & Nature in Full Bloom 🌿

June is a beautiful time to visit Tremenheere. The gardens are bursting with life, lush with colour, texture, and movement as early summer unfolds. The sub-tropical planting is thriving, with palms, tree ferns, bamboos and succulents all putting on a show. It’s the kind of month where you can truly feel the rhythm of the landscape shifting, full of energy and promise.

Alongside the natural beauty of the gardens, there’s plenty happening across the site to inspire and enjoy.

Artistic Encounters

In the gallery, we’re currently showing The Land Will Call You Home, which runs until 13th June. This thoughtful exhibition explores our deep connection to the landscape – how it shapes us, and how we respond to it. It’s a beautiful reflection of the environment here at Tremenheere and well worth a visit. Read more.

Later in the month, on 20th June, we open Afterimage by Alastair and Fleur Mackie, a new exhibition delving into ideas around memory, presence, and perception. These works invite you to pause and look again, encouraging a slower, more contemplative engagement. Full exhibition details.

A Moment for Carers

We’re also proud to take part in Carers Week this year. We already offer carers year round free entry, however, from 9th to 15th June, we’re offering free garden entry to those they care for too. It’s a small gesture of appreciation for the incredible work carers do, and we hope it offers a moment of peace, beauty, and restoration. Find out more.

Eat, Shop, and Take a Piece Home

Of course, no visit is complete without a stop at Tremenheere Kitchen, where you’ll find fresh, seasonal food served with a side of spectacular views. The shop and nursery will also be open, offering everything from unique gifts and local crafts to a beautiful selection of plants, so you can take a little piece of the garden home with you.

Plan Your Visit

The gardens are open daily from 10:30am to 5:30pm, with last entry at 4:30pm. The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 4pm. Tickets are available on the gate or online via our Plan Your Visit page.

We look forward to welcoming you in June, whether you come for the art, the plants, the music, or simply a quiet wander under the trees.
