Press release by West Cornwall Women’s Aid:
West Cornwall Women’s Aid is thrilled to announce that Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens near Penzance has chosen to support the charity by hosting a special Open Day on 27th October. On this day, all ticket sales, excluding season tickets, will be donated to West Cornwall Women’s Aid, helping to fund vital services for women and children affected by domestic abuse and/or sexual violence.
Visitors to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens will not only enjoy the beautiful gardens and sculptures but will also have the opportunity to learn more about the charity’s work through an information stall set up at the event. This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and support a local organisation making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens is committed to giving back to the community, and this partnership with West Cornwall Women’s Aid highlights the importance of supporting local charities that provide life changing services.
Lizzie Matthews, CEO for West Cornwall Women’s Aid, said: “We are extremely grateful to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens for hosting this special event in support of our work. The funds raised will help us continue providing essential refuge and local support services to women and their children who have been affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. It is through community partnerships such as this that we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need us most.”
“We are delighted to support West Cornwall Women’s Aid on a charity day at Tremenheere.
