🌿 The time has come to welcome you back to all that Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens has to offer, when on the 11th February 2023, the Sculpture Gardens, Gallery, Kitchen and Shop will reopen. The Nursery will then reopen in March.
Tremenheere Gallery will present changing exhibitions throughout the 2023 season. The programme begins with Lisa Wright: The Figure in Landscape (11th February – 3rd March 2023), which coincides with the arrival of three sculpture to the Gardens’ collection by the artist, which were created for Future Forest – part of a major project to commemorate the Centenary of The Forestry Commission England in 2019. The Figure in Landscape will run on the lower floor of Tremenheere Gallery, while an exhibition of paintings by Nickie Carlyon runs on the upper floor.
In the Sculpture Gardens, there’s been extensive work during the closure. Not only will you find yourself entering the Gardens over a new bridge, but you’ll notice major landscaping changes, including new planting and pathways to explore. As well as the arrival of Lisa’s Wright’s work, there will also be the addition of several other major, new artworks – more details of which will be revealed over the coming weeks.
