Wander through the beautiful Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, where art and nature come together in the most breathtaking way. Explore winding paths, discover inspiring sculptures, and take in panoramic views of St Michael’s Mount.

After your stroll, treat yourself to something delicious Tremenheere Kitchen and soak up the calm. Whether you’re planning a family day out or simply need a moment to recharge, Tremenheere is the perfect place to unwind.

Tomorrow (Sunday 25th May) there will be a Charity Day in aid of Children's Hospice South West, when all proceeds made from garden ticket sales will be donated to the charity.

The Gardens are open all weekend from 10am to 5.30pm, with last entry at 4:30pm. Come and make the most of the extra day 🌿

To round off Mental Health Awareness Week (12–18 May), we’ve been reflecting on the power of awe, that feeling of wonder we get when we’re immersed in something vast, beautiful, or inspiring. Research shows that awe can boost mood, reduce stress, and help us feel more connected to the world around us.

Tremenheere offers just that kind of experience: a place where art and nature come together to invite stillness, reflection, and deep connection. We’re partnered with @silentspaace and have beautiful spaces with dedicated times of silence to help us do just that.

Take time for your mental well-being. Let nature surprise you. Let art move you. Let yourself feel awe.

MEET THE ARTISTS ✨

The Land Will Call You Home, Tremenheere Gallery, until 12th June 🌿

This powerful group exhibition explores our deep, personal, and complex relationships with land, identity, memory, and place, curated by Samuel Bassett.

Featured artists (1-5):

🎨 Carlos Zapata ~ Exodus. Originally from Colombia and now based in Cornwall, @carloszapataart creates powerful sculptures that address poverty, conflict, religion, and race. Deeply personal and socially engaged, his work resonates with empathy and compassion.

🎨 Siobhan McLaughlin ~ The Mountain Pass (Lairig Ghru). Working between Glasgow and Penzance, @siobhanmclaughlinstudio uses remnant textiles and earth pigments to explore landscape through memory, the body, and time. Her practice reflects on language, place, and how human presence shapes our ecologies.

🎨 Joe Packer ~ Red.n.wood XIII. @joe_packer_’s intuitive paintings evoke imagined landscapes with a psychological presence. Sitting between abstraction and figuration, they hint at place and memory while functioning as self-contained visual worlds.

🎨 Samuel Bassett ~ Mans Head (The Bay). @_samuelbassett’s work explores our relationship with nature through a personal, panoramic lens. His paintings and sculptures reflect themes of fear, knowledge, and our return to the land. As curator, he brings together artists whose work speaks to these shared themes.

🎨 Arthur Lanyon ~ White Circle Sun. @arthur.lanyon paints from a studio near Penzance, combining abstraction with raw, emotive figuration. Influenced by altered states and childlike mark-making, his work taps into the emotional depth of human experience.
