Charity Open Day in Aid of ShelterBox’s Nepal Flash Floods Appeal

Saturday 25 October 2026

Join us during the October half term for our Autumn Charity Day, this year supporting ShelterBox’s Nepal Flash Floods Appeal.

ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and essential supplies to families displaced by conflict and natural disasters. Founded in Cornwall in 2000, it has supported millions of people across more than 100 countries.

As part of its Nepal Flash Floods Appeal, ShelterBox has already provided emergency shelter and essential supplies—including tents, blankets, tarpaulins, ropes and solar lights—to 1,000 families displaced by the devastating floods. Working with local and international partners, the charity is now airlifting aid to isolated mountain communities while planning longer-term recovery support for the months ahead.

Watch the latest update from Nepal, filmed during ShelterBox’s first distributions on 8 September.

On the day, the Gardens will be open from 10.30am–4.30pm, with all proceeds from garden admission—both in person and online, excluding season ticket purchases—donated to ShelterBox’s Nepal Flash Floods Appeal.
