Carers Week: Free Entry For Carers And Those They Care For

Monday 6th June marks the beginning of Carers Week, an inspiring annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

We’re proud to show our support by continuing to offer carers free year-round entry into the Sculpture Gardens and also offering it to those they care for during Carers Week (6th-12th June) so that you can enjoy everything that nature and art have to offer, together.

A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid for a friend or family member who has an illness, disability, or condition that affects their mental or physical wellbeing and cannot manage without their support. Carers have a huge impact on not only the lives of the people they care for but also on contributing to society. Click here to find out more about Carers Week.

“We believe that carers should have the opportunity to pursue their own goals and aims alongside of their caring role” – Cornwall Carers Services

To gain free entry, enquire at the ticket shed upon arrival. If you have any questions you can email us at [email protected] or call us on 01736 448089 (ext. 1).

The gardens are open daily 10:30 – 5:30, last entry 4:30, no need to pre-book. Click here to learn more about the Sculpture Gardens.
